Murcia is an agricultural region and an important producer of flowers, fruit and vegetables for the rest of Spain. Murcia is particularly known for its Calasparra rice and seafood from the Mar Menor.

Murcia boasts three Denominations of Origin for its robust red wines from Bullas, Yecla and Jumilla. Wine lovers will appreciate a trip to Bullas,a traditional wine producing area in Murcia, with over 200 local wineries and a museum dedicated to the art.
