Murcia has a rich cultural heritage, with a wealth of archaeological interest left by its Carthaginian, Roman and Moorish invaders.

La Bastida is an important Bronze Age site located in Totana, just a short drive from our apartments in Condado de Alhama. The site is being actively excavated at the moment and visitors can arrange guided tours of the site and its laboratories, giving an insight into a real live archaeological dig and the Argaric culture who lived there.
